Last week, The Osmo Foundation and MTL NewTech hosted its first-ever Montreal Startup Community Awards.
The Awards were meant to celebrate members of the tech community that built up and supported the Montreal ecosystem. While the award named one 2017 ‘champion’ in each category, it also recognized contributions from the community more broadly. The public was allowed to vote until early November for the top three in each category, while a panel of judges narrowed down each winner.

“We will be recognizing the people, the places and the organizations that are working tirelessly, often without recognition. It’s time to celebrate all they have done so over the past year.”
