Montreal-based NestReady, which uses AI to connect homebuyers with their homes, mortgage lenders, and real estate providers, has appointed Frederick Townes as its co-founder and chief technology officer.
Townes was previously the CTO at media company Mashable. Before that, he served as co-founder, president, and CTO of Placester, a real estate marketing platform in the US. NestReady said Townes will bring his experience working alongside AI experts at Placester to NestReady’s development team.
“NestReady is building a predictive analytics platform that allows mortgage lenders to know when and how to serve their customers in ways they’ve never had before,” said Mauro Repacci, co-founder and CEO at NestReady. “Frederick brings the technical know-how that will take NestReady’s machine learning insights solution to the next level to be able to deliver value to our clients that they won’t find with other FinTech providers.”
NestReady closed a strategic funding round in June to support the development of its AI capabilities, including machine learning tools that allow mortgage lenders to better understand buyers’ needs.
