Montreal SaaS startup TrackTik Software Inc. has been awarded the 2018 SaaS Award by San Diego-based APPEALIE.

The APPEALIE Awards — open to any SaaS application regardless of industry, product focus, or market share — recognize innovative software apps that demonstrate excellence and outstanding customer satisfaction and success. Selected on the basis of customer feedback and data, the winning apps “make our lives easier, our work more efficient – and keep our businesses moving,” on any platform.

“Each year customers expect more and more from their SaaS vendors. Our highly selective SaaS award recognizes software platforms that are exceeding those rising customer expectations,” said Matt Harney, the founder of APPEALIE, in announcing the awards.

TrackTik — which gives organizations managing security guards worldwide the mobile and web-based tools to run responsive automated operations — won the award in the SaaS Customer Success category.

“Our entire business model is built around addressing the unique needs and challenges of each of our customers,” said TrackTik founder and CEO Simon Ferragne. “We reimagined every role in our industry in order to help our clients work more efficiently and effectively, and the result has been the delivery of game-changing technology.”

TrackTik previously raised $7 million in funding backed by Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ) and iNovia Capital.
