Integrate.AI

Integrate.ai is starting to add more senior talent following its recent $5.6 million CAD funding round. The Toronto-based company, which is building a platform to help B2C enterprises optimize customer engagements, announced today that Colin Toal has joined as its new VP of Engineering.

Integrate.ai planns to raise an institutional Series A round in 2018.

Toal had previously worked for Amazon, IBM Canada, leading engineering teams focused on customer service tech and IBM’s Watson and Cloud Platform, respectively. Prior to that, Toal was at Oracle, working at Oracle on the company’s CRM portfolio.

Integrate.ai also announced that Eric Colson will also be joining the team as a member of the company’s strategic advisory board. Constructed during the company’s latest funding round, Integrate.ai’s board features many notable North American tech names, including Shopify COO Harley Finkelstein and Praveen Arichandran, director of growth at Tesla.

Colson is a notable name in his own right as the Algorithms Officer at Stitch Fix, and the former VP of Data Science & Engineering at Netflix. The new advisory member will be tapped to work closely with Toal and Integrate.ai’s engineering team.

Looking forward, Integrate.ai is planning to raise an institutional Series A round in 2018.
