Icontrol Networks announced that it has partnered with Montreal’s IoT analytics company mnubo to add data-driven services to its home automation platform.

Icontrol’s connected home solutions manage over 26 million sensors and devices, with more than 100 billion smart home transactions expected to pass through its platform in 2015. mnubo’s ability to provide advanced real-time analytics and strategic insights from IoT will help Icontrol extract business value from the data.

“Icontrol’s clear vision and strong ecosystem positions them uniquely to take advantage of the strategic insights from their smart home data,” said Frederic Bastien, CEO of mnubo. “Applying data science and machine learning to smart homes is the next big data opportunity – the other players are just not using their data effectively.”
