Nanoleaf is a green technology startup with a mission to create a more sustainable future. Founded in 2012 by University of Toronto graduates Gimmy Chu, Tom Rodinger and Christian Yan, Nanoleaf is a team of diverse, fun, creative and passionate doers committed to developing energy efficient products that promote and encourage people to embrace a more sustainable lifestyle. Green at heart, with people in mind, Nanoleaf combines planet-friendly technology with people-friendly designs to offer greener products that do not compromise on personal benefit.

About Gimmy Chu:
Gimmy Chu is the business development extraordinaire of Nanoleaf, the schemer of the company. When he’s not busy strategizing, he finds himself on a surfboard, tunneling waves and enjoying the vast open waters. He also has an adorable Jack Russell named Cookie, who is his biggest fan.
As a University of Toronto graduate, Gimmy has over seven years of experience as a technology consultant. He has delivered projects for numerous clients across North America including TD Bank, Hawaiian Telcom, Frontier Communications, Best Buy and Jack in the Box. He is now leading the effort in sourcing affordable and suitable components for Nanoleaf as well as managing the planning and execution of the Nanoleaf products.
