Coralie Lalonde is the founder and CEO of Katsura Investments, an early stage private equity investment group established in 1999. Prior to Katsura, she was the founder and CEO of Integra Solutions, a high-tech research and design corporation established in 1993. Coralie is an executive committee member of the Ottawa chapter of the Institute of Corporate Directors and has served on many private boards including SofTV (acquired by Xstream), Maskery (acquired by Macadamian) and DNA Genotek (acquired by OraSure). She is also an active volunteer in the Community and has served as a Director for many organizations including Junior Achievement of Ottawa (Chair), Volunteer Ottawa (Chair), the Tech Venture Challenge (Chair) and the Community Foundation of Ottawa. She has received various awards for her business and community service including the Y Woman of Distinction award and the Mayor’s Community Builder award.

Caroline Somers is very active as both an angel investor and as chair of an angel Ottawa’s Capital Angel Network. The Capital Angel Network helps connect entrepreneurs with angel funding, and reaches out to angels both within as well as outside Ottawa. Caroline is also an executive coach, working with entrepreneurs as they grow their companies and overcome startup challenges, and an active board director for a number of private and public organizations including the Ontario Centres of Excellence.

The Female Funders Breakfast Series is open to both accredited and unaccredited investors.
We welcome everyone from veteran angel investors, to newbie angels, and aspiring angels. If you are just getting into the angel investment world, there is no better place to start than this event.
That said, in order to provide the best quality experience for our community, the Female Funders Breakfast Series is an exclusive event restricted to women serious about angel investing. In order to attend you must agree that you have at least $10K in disposable income that you plan to invest in startups over the next year.
