Element AI launches third standalone product, Access Governor

Element Ai

Montréal-based Element AI has launched its latest product, Access Governor, which was designed to help companies manage access to information. The new product is now available through Element AI’s sales group.

Access Governor was created to address how businesses administer digital access control.

Using artificial intelligence, Access Governor analyzes, recommends, and manages the most appropriate information and location access rights for large groups of employees. The product, which pulls historical data from the end-user, is designed to help IT teams quickly authorize or revoke employee access and accounts, meant to create a safer, more orderly organization.

“For many companies, managing access to both information, IT platforms, and physical spaces is essential to running a safe, efficient, and profitable business,” said Anand Medepalli, head of products at Element AI. “We developed Access Governor understanding that granting access is a balancing act between quickly providing access to ensure productivity while also taking the time to manage risks.

The new product was created to address how businesses, particularly those with large workforces, administer digital access control. The software analyzes and manages role-based access control with activation and revocation intelligence that can quickly facilitate access to the critical information and assets of any company.

Access Governor also looks at past patterns and current trends to empower any IT team to quickly adapt to employee additions, departures, and changing contractor access rights.

Element AI’s first standalone product, called Underwriting Partner, is targeted toward the insurance industry. The startup launched its second product, Knowledge Scout, targeted toward manufacturers, in December. The launches came after an interesting year for the startup, which raised a $200 million CAD Series B in September, amid pressing concerns over how the company could commercialize its products.

Along with the new product launches, Element AI has also announced partnerships to develop products with Mozilla, Aisin Seiki, and LG Electronics.
