C2 Montréal unveils new wave of speakers for 2020 conference

C2 Montréal has announced new additions to the roster of speakers for the conference’s ninth edition, being held in May. Among the most recent wave of speakers is the co-founder of Headspace and the CEO of Vimeo.

These new speakers will join a lineup that already features entrepreneur and investor Mark Cuban, Twitter founder Jack Dorsey, head of Google hardware design Ivy Ross, and Patrick Pichette, general partner at Inovia Capital.

The theme of this year’s three-day conference is “Beyond Boundaries,” which C2 Montréal said is focused on knowledge-sharing and cross-pollination “at a time when the complexity of issues facing industry and society feels overwhelming.”

“We look for individuals who bring a unique perspective to today’s business challenges,” said founder of C2 Montréal, Jean-François Bouchard. “What we’ve been able to achieve with C2 Montréal is really special. The event continues to solidify Montréal’s position as a premier global destination for business and creativity.”

The most recently announced speakers include:

  • Andy Puddicombe, co-founder of Headspace
  • Anjali Sud, CEO of Vimeo
  • Alain Sylvain, CEO of Sylvain Labs
  • Christiane Germain,co-president and co-founder of Groupe Germain Hôtels
  • Andrea Kremer, sports journalist
  • Sandra Wachter, Oxford Internet Institute, University of Oxford
  • David Carroll,from Netflix’s The Great Hack

This year’s programming will feature 10 tracks, which cover topics like “marketing in the attention economy,” “sexy sustainability” and “AI in action.” The tracks will include various conferences, workshops, masterclasses, and one-on-one opportunities.

C2 Montréal is an annual business conference that looks at the intersections of commerce, science, technology, society, and sustainability. The conference brings in over 7,500 participants from more than 60 countries and 34 industries. The ninth edition will take place from May 27 to 29 at McGill University.
