The C100, a non-profit, member-driven organization that supports Canadian technology entrepreneurship through mentorship, partnership and investment, is back in Montreal next month.
AccelerateMTL happens on April 10 at Theatre Rialto. AccelerateMTL is a unique chance to hear from world-class entrepreneurs, investors and executives. The event provides networking opportunities for “anyone looking to connect with the Montreal and the Silicon Valley tech ecosystems.” This year’s speakers will give a behind-the-scenes look at “what it really means to scale innovation, the pros and cons of working with big corp and an inside view of investment negotiation.”
Speakers include Katherine Barr, the C100’s co-chair, Scott Bonham, a founding partner of GGV Capital, Ajay Royan, founder of Mithril Capital, Wesley Chan, an advisor at Google Ventures and Jeff Booth of BuildDirect.
“This year’s theme is all about Scaling Innovation. High-profile speakers and panelists will be sharing stories on how to accelerate growth, exploring what growth really means, and what it takes to be the next billion-dollar company,” said iNovia Capital’s Chris Arsenault. “AccelerateMTL is a unique platform helping entrepreneurs build high speed companies by facilitating connections outside of our local community in order build big business.”
Arsenault added that the value or relationships “goes beyond our local community and helps integrate us with the larger startup, tech, entrepreneurial community that is exploding on a global scale.”
