BetaKit Live: Getting Hybrid Work Right

What the new best practices to ensure that businesses in 2023 are getting hybrid work right for the long term?

The future has arrived early for Canadian businesses, as hybrid work shifted from a COVID-19 emergency response to a permanent reality: sixty-five percent of Canadian knowledge workers now work in a remote or hybrid format.

And while employees across the country have embraced remote or hybrid work options, it hasn’t exactly been a smooth transition. Recent data shows that while the vast majority (89 percent) of Canadians are keen on hybrid work, fewer than one-quarter of them (22 percent) say they are thriving in a hybrid environment.

Sixty-five percent of Canadian knowledge workers now work in a remote or hybrid format.

Business leaders are also left grappling with a variety of new concerns: privacy and security, IT overload, shifting work culture and emergent costs.

But it’s unlikely that hybrid work is going away any time soon. So what are businesses to do?

In partnership with Intel Canada, BetaKit is happy to present a live-streamed panel conversation on the new best practices to ensure that businesses in 2023 are getting hybrid work right for the long term.

Featuring insights from Denis Gaudreault, Country Manager, Intel Canada, Michael Almeida, Business Unit Leader, Softchoice, and John P. Trougakos, Professor, University of Toronto, the panel will explore the concerns and opportunities currently defining the modern workplace.

This BetaKit Live will be streamed simultaneously to Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn with event links for each platform posted below. We’ll also publish a recap of the conversation to BetaKit with HD video for those who can’t attend live.
