BCTIA announces Technology Impact Award finalists

Since 1994, the BCTIA has been celebrating the success of British Columbia companies with the Technology Impact Awards, which is dedicated to putting the spotlight on companies putting BC on the map. For its 2016 edition, the organization announced the finalists across ten categories.

This year, BCTIA is also introducing a new People’s Choice award for the first time, which will be presented to the company that the BC tech community feels best exemplifies “The Spirit of BC Tech.” Voting is open to the public.

“The BC tech industry has had another incredible year, and the 2016 TIAs finalists are a testament to that fact,” said Bill Tam, BCTIA President and CEO, on the BCTIA website. “Our finalists represent the very best in their categories, exemplifying the leadership that many BC Tech companies have achieved in delivering solutions to customers and partners around the globe. The TIAs celebrate excellence in every respect and demonstrate the incredible people, innovation and growth that make BC the best place to grow a tech company.”

The winning companies will be announced on June 7 at the Vancouver Convention Centre. For tickets — and to ensure you don’t miss the Early Bird special — check out the website here.
