#WWTO is all about Apple Watch May 5th

We Are Wearables Toronto

The next monthly edition of We Are Wearables is fast descending on the MaRS Discovery District. May 5th’s event will be almost entirely Apple Watch focused, with not only a panel of journalists ready to discuss Apple’s premiere wearable, but demonstrations of some of the very first Apple Watch apps from Tangerine and The Globe and Mail.

Panel: Apple Watch post-launch discussion with journalists

    – Raju Mudhar, Toronto Star
    – Nicole Bogart, Global News
    – Patrick O’Rourke, The Financial Post / MobileSyrup
    – Daniel Bader, MobileSyrup
    – Randi Bergman, FASHION Magazine
    – Tom Emrich, BetaKit / We Are Wearables

Creating meaningful wrist experiences: a showcase and panel discussion on Apple Watch apps

    – Jay Mehta, Tangerine
    – Craig Saila, The Globe & Mail
    – Tom Emrich, BetaKit / We Are Wearables

Disclosure: you may note a few panelists are members of BetaKit, or our sister-site MobileSyrup. You may also notice that BetaKit Senior Editor Tom Emrich is also the founder of We Are Wearables, because he is awesome.

The May 5th #WWTO will also feature the official launch of girls wearable Linkitz, presented by co-founder Lyssa Neel, as well as delicious food and drink. If you’re interested in attending, you better RSVP now before the event fills up.
