Vancouver-based Spark raises $1 million in funding

Vancouver-based Spark, which offers a CRM for builders, developers, and real estate sales people to sell new homes, announced that it’s raised “over $1 million” as investors continue to show interest in its open round.

The company — which currently tracks and manages close to $10 billion of inventory for its clients — is planning on using the funding for research and development and global expansion. The company was initially launched as an online portal to discover luxury developments, before the company pivoted and to a SaaS product that integrates the entire lifecycle of a new property for sales and marketers. Spark’s platform looks at customer conversation, inventory tracking, contract tracking, email marketing solutions, and event managing resources.

“Our goal is to make it easier and more efficient for developers and marketers to sell properties. A short time into our startup, my partner Cody Curley and I pivoted our business based on client feedback and market demand for smarter software to sell new developments,” said Simeon Garratt, CEO of Spark. “With the additional $1 million funding we will continue to provide well-designed and innovative business tools to help our customers streamline their sales process. This will ensure their clients have the best home buying experience.”
