Tacit Innovations secures $700,000 investment, teases ‘an exciting collaboration with a local restaurant’

Tacit Innovations recently graduated from Communitech’s 3rd cohort and announced today that they’ve successfully raised $700 in funding from BDC, Canrock, Hyperdrive and a group of unknown private investors.

Tacit plans to use the funds to expand the development of its mobile app and increase sale. In addition, the company is eager to launch maegan in restaurants across North America and hinted that they “will be making a big announcement this February about an exciting collaboration with a local restaurant.”

Cris Jucan, CEO of Tacit Innovations, said “Our vision is to increase the restaurant-goers satisfaction while dining out by allowing them to quickly find detailed information about where and what to eat, and empower them to better control their experience.”
