SingularityU and Rogers giving entrepreneurs free Canada Summit tickets through pitch contest

SingularityU has partnered with Rogers to give Canadian entrepreneurs the chance to attend the first Canadian edition of the SingularityU Summit.

Until September 7, Canadian entrepreneurs can enter SingularityU and Rogers’ Exponential Technologies Pitch Contest for a chance to exhibit at and win tickets to attend this year’s SingularityU Canada Summit.

“[Rogers] has been instrumental in supporting SingularityU Canada Summit’s mission to share SU’s exponential mindset and bold thinking with Canadians from coast to coast to coast.”

Taking place in Toronto between October 11 to 12, the SingularityU Canada Summit explores the effect of “exponential technology” on humanity, and zeroes in on fields like nanotechnology and digital fabrication, network and computing systems, AI and robotics, and biotechnology.

To participate in the contest, Canadian entrepreneurs must sign up and enter their information online. They must also submit a two to three-minute video about how they are tackling Canada’s biggest societal or business challenges in emerging sectors such as AI or robotics.

The grand prize winner will receive one expo booth and two tickets for the SingularityU Canada Summit, and five runner ups will receive two tickets to attend the summit.
