Qoints wins N100 Startup Competition and $100,000 in equity financing

The winner of the annual N100 Startup Competition has been announced and Toronto-based Qoints secures $100,000 in equity financing. Now in its 3rd year, the N100, which is an abbreviation “Northumberland” and “$100,000”, is a competition that aims to put early-stage startups on a venture capital track by positioning them for follow-on investment. The N100 Startup Competition was developed by Northumberland CFDC in partnership with our Regional Innovation Centre, Spark Centre.

Qoints allows brand marketers to compare the results of their digital campaigns against their competition in real time and gain actionable intelligence from the data they collect.

“This is about a scientific revolution in marketing,” said Cory Rosenfield, Qoints CEO. “In today’s world, brands need real digital marketing intelligence to quickly gain and defend their competitive edge.”

Wendy Curtis, Executive Director of Northumberland CFDC, said, “Qoints promises to deliver on a major pipeline of business development and we look forward to being a part of their acceleration and future success.”

There is no indication yet of how Qoints will use the $100,000. However, the company is currently validating its technology through several pilot projects with advertising agencies and direct brand clients.
