“The pioneers who moved beyond uncertainty to discover new ways of working. The leaders who challenge tradition, who create and inspire change. The obstinate, the risk takers, the driven.”

This is how PwC defines the winners of its 2016 PwC Vision to Reality Awards program, which is currently open to nominations. The program is meant to recognize innovative leaders across Canada, and organizations can be entered through one of three categories: The Disruptor, for early stage businesses that have found a new gap in the market and are seeing significant user growth; The Builder, for mid-sized businesses that are making at least $25 million in revenue and innovating in their space; and The Leader, for large businesses that keep up with innovation with an evolving business model.

After applications are due by January 31st, 2016, shortlisted companies will have the chance to go through a ‘due diligence’ process on-site by PwC, before going through a final evaluation from judges in the business community. Past winners of The Disruptor award include Frank & Oak and Thalmic Labs.
