Outside Sales Representative

As an Outside Sales Representative with HiMama you will be empowering Early Childhood Educators to build stronger relationships with parents and engage them in children’s learning and development using our apps for child care and learning programs. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
As an Outside Sales Representative, you are responsible for finding, developing, and closing new business within a defined geographic territory.
Some highlights of the Outside Sales Representative role include:
Conducting daily heavy prospecting for new clients
Set appointments with prospects and present programs
Develop and qualify leads within respective territory to drive new business opportunities
Negotiate and close business
Consistently meet quota and revenue goals
Other duties as assigned
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
1-2 years B2B outside sales experience
Excellent communication skills oral and written
Proven track record of meeting and/or exceeding targets
Positive and Enthusiastic
Strong work ethics, “Hunter” sales mentality, goal driven and self-motivated
Proven prospecting abilities
Skillful negotiation, presentation and closing abilities
Fully computer literate (Microsoft Office)
Familiarity with a CRM is considered a plus
Organized, self-disciplined and professional in demeanor
Access to own vehicle and valid Driver’s Licence is a must
Passionate about a career that is more than a “job”
Ambition to work hard in order to make an impact in the world
Evidence of independence and self-starter attitude
Very strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
Tenacious drive, motivation and confidence
Propensity to always want to learn and improve
Interest in new technologies and innovations
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from an accredited University
Ability to build relationships and connect with people quickly
Not afraid to pick up the phone and speak to people
Not fazed by rejection on the phone
Professional demeanour and good judgment
Process oriented and never drop the ball
Enjoys understanding customer needs and excited to influence a product sale
Compensation is base salary with uncapped commission
