Jeff Ryzner wins the 2015 BDC Mentorship Award

You might already know the name Jeff Ryzner. He’s the Winnipegger who’s been leading tech initiatives in Canada for over 15 years. Ryzner is currently the CEO Endgame Business Strategy, a Director of Innovate Manitoba and Startup Winnipeg, and also President of The Eureka Project, which is Manitoba’s technology accelerator.

Ryzner can now add to his impressive resume the title of 2015 BDC Mentorship Award, which is an annual award that recognizes an outstanding Canadian business mentor. The award was handed out to Ryzner at Futurpreneur Canada’s annual Action Entrepreneurship reception in Toronto.

“Mentoring entrepreneurs has been the most rewarding personal experience. While giving back to the start-up community comes naturally to people who have been involved with it, winning an award for something you feel so passionately about is an honour and certainly a career milestone of which I am especially proud,” said Ryzner.

“Jeff Ryzner is an outstanding mentor and a natural choice for the 2015 BDC Mentorship Award,” said Julia Deans, CEO, Futurpreneur Canada. “Mr. Ryzner mentors well and mentors generously, sharing his expertise and network with young entrepreneurs who speak to the critical role he’s played in their growth. He is also a community builder who is doing his part to grow Winnipeg’s vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem.”
