For its last demo day, FounderFuel partnered with portfolio company Sharethebus for an inspired approach to connect Canada’s east coast tech corridor: Founders on a Bus. Founders on a Bus let entrepreneurs and startup peers from Kitchener-Waterloo, Toronto, Ottawa, and Quebec City hop on a return-trip ride to Montreal for a chance to network and pitch their company onstage.
Founders on a Bus is back December 2nd, and the destination is even bigger: the Mega MTL Demo Day, featuring the graduating cohorts for both FounderFuel and smart city accelerator InnocitéMTL.
“With an expected crowd of 1400 people, the upcoming FounderFuel + InnoCitéMTL Mega Demo Day is poised to be the biggest one the Canadian startup ecosystem has ever seen,” FounderFuel Program Manager, Emma Williams, told BetaKit. “We couldn’t be more excited!”
Of course, Founders on a Bus will still feature pizza, networking, and the chance for startups to pitch their way onto the demo day stage.
