FinTech and Blockchain Expo exploring how FinTech impacts business

FinTech study

Between September 19 to 21, the FinTech and Blockchain Expo in Toronto will explore emerging trends in FinTech and blockchain by bringing together professionals from across North America working in startups, banks, financial services, and education.

“While FinTech is now acknowledged as a force to be reckoned with, blockchain technology is still relatively new. The FinTech and Blockchain World Expo unites financial powerhouses and blockchain innovators to forge dynamic new partnerships,” said Anthony Di Iorio, CEO and co-founder of Decentral and chief digital officer of TMX Group, in a statement. “The primary goal is to help businesses better understand FinTech and blockchain solutions in order to identify opportunities across industries.”

The expo will feature an exhibitor trade show featuring FinTech and blockchain companies, over 20 demos and panel discussions, and speakers touching on the future of the stock exchange, new models for capital markets, and the future of big data.

Confirmed attendees include Jeff Garzik, CEO of Bloq; Perianne Boring, president of the Chamber of Digital Commerce; and William Mougayar, author of The Business Blockchain.
