While more than half of Canadian SBOs run their business from their smartphone, only 31 percent of those businesses are cloud-enabled.

The gap becomes even noticeable when the amount of money Canadian small business owners are willing to spend on software is factored in. On average, Canadian SBOs spend $1,000 per year on software, much higher than the U.S. average of $630. Eighty-five percent of Canadian SBOs also plan to invest in software solutions in the next five years, with more than half expecting to pay up to $1,000.

Can Canadian small businesses really be run from a smartphone? Are small businesses owners missing out on new tech that can help quickly scale their business, or are they paying too much? What are the new rules of the cloud? BetaKit and Dell have teamed up with Intuit to investigate. Come join us!
