Ecofuel now accepting cleantech applications for cohort 3

Ecofuel accelerator

Montreal’s Ecofuel accelerator is now accepting applications for its next cohort. Ecofuel is looking for early-stage cleantech startups looking to build globally competitive companies.

Ecofuel runs a four-month program, offering seed investment of up to a $100,000 and hosting accepted startups in a dedicated facility Montreal. Once there, the cleantech companies will be provided with workshops, networking, and access to Ecofuel’s mentoring ecosystem, which includes: Simon Olivier, Vice President Growth, Market Strategy and Business Development at GE Canada; Jane Kearns, Senior Advisor, Cleantech at MaRS; Jean Lamarre, Managing Partner at Lamarre consultants; Alexandre Taillefer, Managing Partner at XPND Capital; and Tony Van Bommel, Senior Managing Partner, Industrial, Clean and Energy Technology Venture Fund at BDC Capital.

“After a year, the accelerator model developed by Ecofuel is now supported by a wide network a partners in the cleantech ecosystem,” Richar Cloutier, Ecofuel strategic advisor, in a statement to BetaKit. “Ecofuel is growing very fast and we want to reach and benefit a maximum of cleantech entrepreneurs!”

Those looking to submit their application can do so here, but must get it in before Friday, November 20th.
