#DisruptorsPitch contest gives your startup a chance to pitch to Canada on TV

As an entrepreneur, maybe you’ve already had experience pitching at competitions with an audience of hundreds of entrepreneurs and investors. But on November 10, you could have the chance to pitch to a national audience thanks to The Disruptors, Business News Network’s TV show putting the spotlight on founders across Canada.

Co-hosts Bruce Croxon, a former dragon on Dragons’ Den and partner at Round 13 Capital, and BNN’s Amber Kanwar are searching for Canadian early stage startups through the #DisruptorsPitch contest. From November 10 at 7:30 p.m. ET until November 11 at 7:30 p.m. ET, startups can tell The Disruptors in 140 characters or less why their startup is disruptive using the hashtag #DisruptorsPitch on Twitter. “It’s the ultimate elevator pitch,” Kanwar said.

If you think 140 characters is too limiting, get creative: tweets can include photos, videos, articles, and website links. Winners will be chosen by The Disruptors production team, its co-hosts, and BetaKit.

Check out more of the #DisruptorsPitch guidelines here.

BetaKit is a production partner on The Disruptors. Tune in to BNN every Thursday night at 7pm for full episodes!
