Come see the future of cloud computing with Adrian Cockcroft July 9th

The Vancouver-based Dun & Bradstreet Cloud Innovation Center has announced an event for tech aficionados looking for a glimpse into the future of cloud computing. BetaKit is happy to announce that we are a sponsor.

On July 9th, Adrian Cockcroft, the former Netflix chief architect of cloud services, founder of eBay Research Labs and current leading technical fellow at Battery Ventures, will get together with founder and president of the Dun & Bradstreet Cloud Innovation Center, Mark Cunningham, for a Q&A. Cockcroft will make predictions for the cloud computing industry in 2015, and examine how cloud-native apps, continuous delivery and DevOps techniques will foster innovation.

The Future of Cloud Innovation

This isn’t the first time that Dun & Bradstreet has led an event in support of the local Vancouver tech community. They recently participated in Tech’s Got Talent, a lip sync competition between Vancouver tech companies to raise money for local charities, and are launching a signature event series called #dnbtechtalks to bring the tech community together for networking and support.

Tickets for The Future of Cloud Innovation Event are $30, with $5 of every ticket sale going to Girls Learning Code, a nonprofit that offers coding workshops, camps and after school programs for girls from six to 17.
