As technology becomes more convenient and cheap, it does come at some cost, as the plastic and electronics of commoditized tech continues to take up space in landfills. But for this Canada AM segment, BetaKit senior editor and We Are Wearables founder Tom Emrich featured wearables that have a positive environmental relationship.

Emrich decked out host Bev Thompson with Bellabeat smart jewelry, which is made of sustainable American wood and tracks the overall health of women.

Emrich also introduced TZOA, a wearable that analyzes the quality of air around you, and Fuelwear, a smart-heated shirt that is sure to get Canadians excited.
