On May 5th, AccelerateOTT is returning again this year with a lineup of tech industry leaders speaking on what it takes to build and scale a business, as well as tricks of the trade.
This year’s speakers include Shopify CEO and founder Tobi Lütke, Real Ventures general partner Janet Bannister, and 500 Startups venture partner Selcuk Atli.
For the past four years, Invest Ottawa and the C100 have partnered to host the Accelerate series in Ottawa, as the city currently has 68,000 people working in over 1,750 technology companies.
“I am excited to be participating in my first ever AccelerateOTT. Ottawa is a terrific city for entrepreneurs; it has a great talent base, strong collaboration, and a vibrant ecosystem,” said Bannister. “We have invested in three Ottawa-based companies and look forward to being more active in the city in the future.”
Entrepreneurs will have the chance to listen to talks like Scaling Lean featuring Ash Maurya, author of Running Lean: How to Iterate from Plan A to a plan that works, as well as a fireside chat on big data with David Lennie, head of data and analytics at Shopify.
